Time for Learning Review
Pro's-very interactive, kept her attention well. She enjoyed the way the lessons were presented.
Con's-The lessons were not very instructional. Unless a child knows the topics they arent instructional enough to teach the topic fresh. There is not much review and practice before you are onto a new topic.
Overall, i would use this as a supplementory program, in addition to our homeschool curriculum, never in place of it, as i dont feel it is well rounded or instructional enough.

A New Time For Learning...
I've been invited to try Time4Learning for one month in exchange for a candid review. My opinion will be entirely my own, so be sure to come back and read about my experience. Time4Learning can be used as a homeschool curriculum, for afterschool enrichment and for summer skill sharpening. Find out how to write your own curriculum review for Time4Learning.

Busy Busy Busy!!
Last week we saw our new P.A. i LOVE her. LOOVE her! She is on board with selective/delayed vaccinations. However, our appts. were a bit hard to swallow. Literally. Meason still is not taking anything but the boob by mouth. He is also dropping in percentiles (not that we have many marks on the charts to go by since we don't do WBV's regularly). We are going to head to a G.I. specialist at A.I. DuPont on March 2nd--hopefully sooner, our doc is going to pull some strings. Hopefully this will be a quick fix and some OT/ST can help out :)
Samonia has been a challenge lately-but i have spoken with a few moms of children on the spectrum and they have helped me with managing her tantrums and giving me ideas for transitions-which seem to be here main issue. I have cried a lot about this lately. I just want my baby girl to be normal, no issues and 100% healthy... I cannot get caught up in the future, because it scares me.. We are making the best of today and that is what is important. She did REALLY well with people in and out of the house yesterday...
Speaking of yesterday, we had the pleasure of having designers in our house to scope it out and get ideas on which room they wanted to do!! SUPER EXCITING!!! I've learned a few things.
1. Designers can be a little divaish-if that is even a word! lol
2. My house is in shambles
3. THESE PEOPLE ARE SOOO AMAZINGLY TALENTED and i am BLESSED to have them doing my house!!!
What an amazing journey this will be.. i am sooo very excited!!
I will post before pics of each room this week.. so we can see how the house is going to transform!!

A "Who's Who" of Sorts...
First and foremost, my hubby-Brian :) He is a super hard worker, stubborn and bull headed like his daddy was, but can also be the most compassionate, thoughtful and romantic person i know. He is not your typical "man's man"-infact he cannot hang a picture frame in our house without getting flustered, annoyed, and leaving many nail holes in the wall. But we love him regardless of his ability to do home improvements or hang a picture frame.. :)
Next up! Our oldest daughter-Olivia. She is 6, going on 16... She is a diva through and through, she is the most caring, loving and imaginative child i have ever known. If she could be let loose to dance in tulips all day-she really would. I love her to bits, even if she makes me crazy at times..

Last, but certainly not least is little man-Meason. He is a mama's boy through and through, you can usually find him being worn by mommy, banging his toys to make loud clanking noises, or at his favorite place-the breastaraunt.
Oh! Shoot! I guess I should let you in on yours truely! Me! I really dont know what to say about myself, i am the mom to these three little blessings, and the wife of an awesome husband. They consume me, they are me. I give my all to them.. I am very passionate about a few things, so ill share them.. breastfeeding, homeschooling, natural and gentle parenting.. oh yeah.. and our Victorian House-Brian thought i was crazy, but agreed to buy it because yep-I see oh so much potential in it. (more to come on THAT adventure...)
